Pioneer Woman Mercantile

Creating a modern-day, 1900s-inspired general store, restaurant and bakery in the heart of Osage County.

We worked with Pioneer Woman on this fast-paced project, going from construction to completion in just seven months. We designed the 1,700-square foot building to look like an early 1900s mercantile while reflecting the Pioneer Women’s style and brand.

We highlighted the history of the building with refinished tin-ceiling tiles, exposed brick and the original National Biscuit Company mural. We highlighted Ree Drummond’s personal flair through the barnwood floral mural, hand-drawn chalkboards and touches from the family ranch. On the first floor, we included a full kitchen, deli service area, dining area, coffee counter, and a general store; and on the second floor, we featured a full bakery, seating area, and office space.

A cozy, rustic indoor space with wooden flooring, brick walls, and large windows. There are various chairs, tables, a floral sofa, and artwork on the wall. Soft lighting illuminates the room.
