Built in the early 1930s, Doenges Stadium is a poured-in-place concrete facility that was built by the WPA. We were hired to revive it for the 21st century in commemoration of Bartlesville’s Centennial. Our work included securing donations from local contractors to upgrade the facility, renovating the concession stand, redoing the space under the bleachers, adding locker rooms and offices, and updating the parking lot, roof and lights. We also added gates and statues, breathing new life into the stadium. The beautiful new stadium hosted the American Legion World Series in 2003 and 2007.
